  For the first time in Bangladesh, research on Artemia cultivation method has started. If the cultivation method of this study is implemented, the fate of the salt farmers of the country will change. In addition to salt production in the field, if Artemia is cultivated, salt farmers will get the price of salt on the one hand, and Artemia or shrimp pona food on the other.  This will improve the fortunes of salt farmers on the one hand, and fishermen from the shrimp sector on the other.   Disastrous weather is prevailing in the southern region including Barisal. Continuing rains have disrupted public life. Waterlogging has occurred in different parts of the city.   রাঙামাটির একটি উপজেলার নাম নানিয়ারচর। দুর্গম উপজেলা। তাই এই অঞ্চলের মানুষ ছিল নানা সুবিধা বঞ্চিত। সড়ক যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা না থাকার কারণে উন্নয়নে অগ্রসর হতে পারেনি উপজেলাটি। তাই দীর্ঘ বছর ধরে নানিয়ারচরের বাসিন্দাদের দাবি ছিল, রাঙামাটি কাপ্তাই হ্রদের চেঙ্গি নদীর উপর একটি সংযোগ সেতুর।  বর্তমান সরকারের কারণে রাঙামাটির সেই স্বপ্নের সেতু এখন দৃশ্যমান। এরই মধ্যে উদ্বোধনের সব প্রস্তুতি করা হয়েছে সম্পন্ন।  সংশ্লিষ্টরা বলছেন শিগগিরই জনসাধারণের জন্য খুলে দেওয়া হবে এ সেতু। শুধু নানিয়ারচর উপজেলার বাসিন্দারা নয়, এ সেতুর সুফল ভোগ করবে রাঙামাটি-নানিয়ারচর-লংগদু, খাগড়াছড়ি-সাজেক-বাঘাইছড়ির বাসিন্দরাও। এতে যেমন সচল হবে সড়ক যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা। ঠিক তেমনি অর্থনৈতিকভাবে উন্নয়ন হবে কৃষকসহ ক্ষুদ্র ব্যবসায়ীদের।  সংশ্লিষ্ট সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ২০১৬ সালের ১ নভেম্বর নানিয়ারচর সেতুর কাজ শুরু হয়। সেতুটির দৈর্ঘ্য ৫০০ মিটার এবং প্রস্থ ৯.৮ মিটার। সেতু প্রকল্পটির মোট বাজেট ২২৭ কোটি ৬১ লাখ টাকা। এর মধ্যে ভূমি অধিগ্রহণের জন্য খরচ হয় ৪৬ কোটি  ৬১ লাখ টাকা। সেতুটির সাথে সংযোগ সড়ক রয়েছ...

  বঙ্গোপসাগরে সৃষ্ট লঘুচাপের কারণে কক্সবাজার-সেন্টমার্টিন নৌপথে জাহাজ চলাচল বন্ধ রয়েছে। এতে সেন্টমার্টিন ভ্রমণে গিয়ে দুই দিনে আটকা পড়েছেন শতাধিকের মতো পর্যটক।  উত্তরপূর্ব বঙ্গোপসাগর ও তৎসংলগ্ন এলাকায় একটি লঘুচাপ সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। এ কারণে কক্সবাজার সমুদ্র উপকূলে ৩ নম্বর সতর্ক সংকেত দেওয়া হয়েছে। ফলে জাহাজ চলাচল বন্ধের সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় জেলা প্রশাসন।  সেন্টমার্টিনের ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান নুর আহমদ জানান, দ্বীপে বেড়াতে এসে দুদিন ধরে আটকা পড়া পর্যটকেরা নিরাপদে আছেন। পর্যটকদের সার্বক্ষণিক খোঁজ-খবর নেওয়া হচ্ছে। আবহাওয়া স্বাভাবিক হলে তাদের ফেরত পাঠানো হবে। টেকনাফ উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (ইউএনও) মোহাম্মদ সাইফুল ইসলাম বলেন, কক্সবাজার থেকে কর্ণফুলি এক্সপ্রেস নামে পর্যটকবাহী একটি জাহাজ চলাচল করছে। ৩ নম্বর সর্তক সংকেত থাকায় দুর্ঘটনা এড়াতে এ নৌপথে জাহাজ চলাচল বন্ধ রয়েছে। বৈরী আবহাওয়ার কারণে সেন্টমার্টিনে ভ্রমণে গিয়ে দ্বীপে আটকা পড়া পর্যটকেরা যাতে নিরাপদে থাকতে পারেন সেজন্য সেখানকার আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীকে সতর্ক থাকতে বলা হয়েছে। আবহাওয়া স্বাভাবিক হলে তাদের ফেরত আনা হবে।  বিডি প্রতিদিন/এমআ...
